The South Florida Collection (SFC) is a sub-collection within the Government Resources Information Resources (GRID) Department. Formerly known as the Urban and Regional Collection, the SFC documents the socioeconomic and ethnic composition of communities and peoples residing in southeastern South Florida. Collection development guidelines are influenced by the geographical location of the following counties: Miami - Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Monroe, and Collier. Government publications, books, periodicals, cartographic material, and audiovisual materials are part of the holdings of the South Florida Collection.
